Laurent Gauthier Beaujolais Rose 2016

A dry and crisp rose wine made with Gamay grapes. The Gamay in Beaujolais doted with fruitiness, a balanced acidity and minerality is a perfect varietal to make a dry French Rose. Pressed after a few hours maceration – static must settle for 18 hours – long fermentation at low temperature (14°C) and then aging with stiring of the lees for 4 months without malolactic fermentation. Pink robe with bright tints. A nose very savory characterized with red berries and candy notes freshly picked. The finish is fresh and elegant, appealing to drink! Annual production : 540 cases

Berger Lössterrassen Grüner Veltliner 2015

Kremstal, Austria -

Zesty lime and green fern aromas rise from the glass. The palate merely adds a little green pear fruit to this refreshing and enlivening combo of utter cleanness and verve. The linearity and drive make this moreish, very exciting and totally lip-smacking. Echoes of pepper on the aftertaste make it even more intriguing.

Las Perdices Sauvignon Blanc 2016

Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo -

Very subtle greenish-yellow color, intense aromas of passion fruit, mango, and pink grapefruit, with subtle mineral notes. Good attack on the palate, well balanced acidity, and a long finish, highlighting notes of tropical fruit.

Laetitia Estate Chardonnay 2015

Arroyo Grande Valley, CA -

Energetic fruit and mineral-driven notes of ripe quince, green apple and crushed chalk transition into delicate aromas of jasmine, apricot preserves and spiced tea. This Chardonnay offers a spicy anise character that weaves throughout the honeyed finish and crisp acidity. Ripe and delicious, this brings the richness of honey and the rigor of minerality into perfect balance.

Ampeleia ‘Unlitro’ Costa Toscana IGT, 2016

Tuscany, Italy -

After years of experience, we have achieved a deeper awareness of the natural world around us and of our vineyards. The character of our land emerges clearly in our wines. It is a journey that requires passion, determination and the ability to observe and to listen. It is this new awareness that inspired us to conceive a third wine sourced from the youngest vineyards. The name of the wine is ‘Unlitro’ – one litre of Ampeleia – an expression of Ampeleia’s vitality and subtly delicate nature. Clear ruby red with purple nuances. Gentle and fruity nose with hints of cherries soaked in alcohol, flowery notes of red roses and, finally, juniper. Warm but adequately fresh taste, tannin-rich and medium lasting flavour. Hints of concrete. An ideal match for chicken morsels cooked with bay leaves.

Las Perdices Malbec 2015

Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo -

Intense purple red color. Complex berry aromas with delicate oak touches. Soft in mouth, balanced, plum and cherry notes. 8 months in French and American oak barrels.

Marietta Cellars Armé

Geyserville, CA -

In a world of many over-hyped, over extracted, & over-priced CA reds, there are a few exceptions that stand out like beacons on a foggy night. One is Marietta Cellars. The history of Marietta Cellars goes back nearly 40 years. 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot, 3% Malbec Armé has chewy, rich, concentrated flavors of classic black currant, cherries, smoke and earth, with fine tannins and a long structured finish. The nose elegantly combines aromas of spice-box, green olive and black licorice.
